SSP Joginder Singh Holds Meeting with Domana-Akhnoor Police Officials: Emphasizing Vigilance and Patrolling

Jammu, March 8: Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Joginder Singh of Jammu and Kashmir Police held a casual inspection meeting with police officials from the Domana and Akhnoor sub-divisions on Saturday. The meeting included the SP Rural Jammu, SDPO Domana, SDPO Akhnoor, SHOs from both police stations, police post in-charges, investigation officers, readers, and other staff members.

During the meeting, SSP Singh conducted a comprehensive review of the current security landscape and crime resolution status. He instructed all officers to maintain strict vigilance in the area, enhance both the quantity and quality of patrolling, and establish surprise checkpoints to monitor suspicious activities. Special emphasis was placed on strengthening security at religious sites, important buildings, and other sensitive locations.

SSP Singh highlighted the importance of timeliness and quality in criminal investigations. He urged that all cases be resolved swiftly and the clearance rate improved. He directed strict action against drug traffickers, organized criminals, and other serious offenders. The effective implementation of new criminal laws, including Zero FIR, e-FIR, and other provisions, was also discussed.

A significant focus was placed on utilizing modern technological tools to enhance policing efficiency. SSP Singh provided directives for the effective use of NAFFIS, Google Sheets, IRAD, ICJS, and the Netgrid portal. He stated that regular and proper use of these portals would strengthen investigations and curb criminal activities.

SSP Singh advised police personnel to adopt humility and professional body language while interacting with the public. Emphasizing community-centered policing, he stressed the need for immediate resolution of public complaints and maintaining a positive image of the police. The discussion also covered effective investigations, maximizing the use of forensic services, progress on the Crime and Criminal Tracking Network and Systems (CCTNS), and maintaining discipline.

SSP Joginder Singh reiterated a zero-tolerance policy against drugs, corruption, concealing crimes, and indiscipline. He asserted that such activities would not be tolerated at any level, and strict action would be taken against offenders.
