Haridwar, August 28: Yoga guru Baba Ramdev has taken steps to mend his relationship with BJP MP Kangana Ranaut by sending her sweets and gifts for Raksha Bandhan. This gesture comes in the wake of a recent dispute between the two.
In a conversation with the media, Baba Ramdev expressed his desire to bring sweetness back into their relationship. He stated that he is sending sweets and Rakhi gifts to Kangana’s home to normalize their interactions.
“We are sending gifts and sweets to sister Kangana Ranaut by post. There should be no hatred in the country, nor should there be animosity between individuals. Therefore, we have decided to put aside our differences,” he said.
In addition to the gifts, Baba Ramdev mentioned that he would also call Kangana. He remarked, “Recently, there was a controversy regarding whether there was a dispute between Swami Ramdev and Kangana. We aim to resolve this through dialogue, and today we will also call sister Kangana to wish her a happy Raksha Bandhan.”
While speaking to the media, he placed some money in an envelope and mentioned that they are sending gifts and sweets to ensure their relationship remains sweet. He added, “There have been many misunderstandings, but we should forget our grievances and move forward with love, which is the true message of Raksha Bandhan.”
The controversy between Baba Ramdev and Kangana Ranaut began when Kangana referred to ‘Gen Z’ protesters as the ‘gutter generation’ during a television program. Baba Ramdev criticized this statement, suggesting that such remarks reflect a troubled mindset, and he questioned Kangana’s past and upbringing.
In response, Kangana took to social media to sharply rebut Baba Ramdev, advising him to stop dreaming about her youth or personal life. She also asserted that she has never been tainted by false medical claims or legal troubles.
Following this, Baba Ramdev briefly commented on the issue, stating that he does not wish to escalate the matter further by engaging with such petty individuals.
