Special Prayers Held at Badrinath and Kedarnath Temples Following BJPs Historic Victory

Chamoli, May 6: In celebration of the Bharatiya Janata Party’s historic win in the West Bengal and Assam assembly elections, special prayers were conducted at the sacred Badrinath and Kedarnath temples in Uttarakhand.

Hemant Dwivedi, the president of the Badrinath-Kedarnath Temple Committee (BKTC), announced that these religious rituals were held to honor the BJP’s significant majority. He stated that this victory reflects the public’s trust, leadership, and development policies.

During the prayers, special invocations were made for Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, and Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami.

At Badrinath Temple, a morning Mahabhishek, Vedic recitations, and Havan-Yagna were performed, wishing for the nation’s prosperity and welfare. Temple officials and priests participated in the rituals.

Meanwhile, at Kedarnath Temple, special Rudrabhishek and Vedic prayers were conducted, invoking peace, progress, and prosperity for the country. The rituals at both temples were accompanied by Vedic chants, with a large number of devotees present, all wishing for the nation’s advancement.

Notable attendees at Badrinath included Rawal Amarnath Namboodiri, Officer-in-Charge Girish Chauhan, and Dharmadhikari Swyambar Semwal, among others. At Kedarnath, priests T. Gangadhar and Dharmacharya Omkar Shukla were also present.

It is worth mentioning that regarding the West Bengal assembly election results, CM Dhami expressed on social media platform ‘X’ that this outcome is a testament to the Prime Minister’s capable leadership, Home Minister Amit Shah’s commitment, and the steadfast resolve of BJP National President Nitin Nabin. He noted that the people of Bengal have chosen development, good governance, and national interest over fear, appeasement, and chaos.

He further stated that this victory is proof of the public’s unwavering faith in the BJP’s welfare policies, good governance, security guarantees, and the commitment to uplift the underprivileged, which is currently facilitating uninterrupted development across the nation.
