Lucknow, August 2: Ahead of the monsoon session of the Uttar Pradesh Assembly, Samajwadi Party’s national spokesperson, Fakhrul Hasan Chand, launched a scathing attack on the BJP, making several serious allegations. He criticized the government on issues related to terrorism, youth, and other matters expected to be raised in the Assembly.
Fakhrul Hasan Chand stated, “The BJP makes grand claims regarding terrorism, but the government led by the Bharatiya Janata Party has completely failed to provide internal and external security to the nation.” He accused the government of failing to ensure internal security over the past 12 years.
Expressing sorrow over incidents affecting labor families, he said, “The Samajwadi Party extends its condolences to those families, especially the laborers who have lost their loved ones. We demand that these families receive maximum financial assistance and security.” Recently, two laborers from Chhattisgarh were killed in a terrorist attack in Kulgam, Jammu and Kashmir.
In response to Prime Minister Modi‘s statement in Mysuru that “the youth are the greatest strength of the nation,” Fakhrul Hasan Chand remarked, “The Samajwadi Party believes that the youth are the future of this country. However, the BJP has used pellet guns against these very youth. When they protested for public interest issues, they were labeled as Khalistani, Pakistani, and subjected to various derogatory names. The BJP must understand that these young people are the future of the nation. They took to the streets to voice their demands. The BJP has no concern for the youth.”
Regarding AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi’s remarks, he stated, “The Samajwadi Party has no comments to make on Owaisi’s statements, as his party has no base in Uttar Pradesh. A party that continuously raises 50,000 questions against the Samajwadi Party and lists 5,000 shortcomings is now talking about alliances. The Samajwadi Party believes it will defeat the BJP in Uttar Pradesh. In 2027, the Samajwadi Party will remove the BJP from power.”
It is noteworthy that AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi has openly proposed an alliance to Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav to prevent the BJP from coming to power in the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections.
As the Uttar Pradesh Assembly session begins on Monday, Fakhrul Hasan Chand remarked, “With many schools shutting down in UP, there are issues concerning farmers, laborers, and students, along with the Ram Temple donation issue. The Samajwadi Party will raise all public-related matters in the Assembly.”
