South Actor Ajith Kumars Mother Mohini Mani Passes Away at 85

Mumbai, May 30: Renowned South Indian actor Ajith Kumar’s mother, Mohini Mani, has passed away at the age of 85. She breathed her last in Chennai due to health complications.

According to reports, her funeral will take place at Ajith Kumar’s residence in Palavakkam, Chennai. Currently, Ajith is in Dubai, and arrangements are being made for his swift return to Chennai. It is believed that Mohini Mani’s passing was due to age-related health issues.

Members of the film industry and fans are expressing their condolences during this difficult time. Meanwhile, DMK leader M.K. Stalin shared his sorrow on social media platform X, stating, “I am deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Mrs. Mohini Mani, the mother of my dear brother Ajith Kumar. The loss of a mother is profound, as she is the one who gives life to her child and rejoices the most in their successes. I find myself at a loss for words to comfort him during this challenging time.”

He further added, “I pray that the beautiful moments spent with his mother give him the strength to overcome this sorrow. My heartfelt condolences to Ajith Kumar and his entire family.”

Ajith Kumar, a popular figure in Tamil cinema, is also a professional car racer. He has participated in various national and international motorsport competitions and is well-known for his racing talent.

He began his acting career in 1990 with the Tamil film ‘En Veedu En Kanavar’ and gained recognition as a lead actor in the 1993 film ‘Amaravati’. His first major break came with the 1995 thriller ‘Aasai’. Since then, he has delivered outstanding performances in several successful films, including ‘Billa’, ‘Veeram’, and ‘Viswasam’.
