Mumbai, August 15: Sonam Bajwa is one of the leading actresses in the Hindi and Punjabi film industries. Known for her beauty, exceptional acting skills, and impressive dance moves, she has captured the hearts of millions of fans.

Born as Sonam Preet Kaur Bajwa on August 16, 1989, in Rudrapur, Uttarakhand, she began her acting career in 2013 with the Punjabi film “Best of Luck.”

Sonam completed her early education at JC Public School in Rudrapur before moving to Delhi, where she graduated from Delhi University. Her passion for acting led her to Mumbai, where she participated in the Femina Miss India competition in 2012.

Before stepping into the acting world, Sonam worked as an air hostess for a brief period. However, she soon made her mark in the Punjabi film industry with successful films like “Punjab 1984,” “Sardar Ji 2,” “Nikka Zaildar,” “Manje Bistre,” “Guddiyan Patole,” and “Carry On Jatta.”

In Bollywood, she made her debut through cameos and special projects, appearing in notable films like “Bala” and “Street Dancer 3D.” Her career took a significant turn as she starred alongside major actors in popular films such as “Housefull 5” and “Border 2.”

Sonam’s remarkable performance in the Punjabi film “Ardab Mutiyara” earned her the Best Actress award at the PTC Punjabi Film Awards. Today, she stands as one of the rising top actresses in Bollywood.
