Mumbai, August 15: Actor Govinda addressed his wife Sunita Ahuja’s comments for the first time on Independence Day. He urged her to refrain from spreading fabricated stories about him through podcasts or other platforms, as they could harm his image and career.
In a video, Govinda expressed to Sunita, “Sunita ji, you are interfering in my work. You have already participated in shows like ‘Maa Hai Na’ and ‘Lockup-2,’ where you called me in tears. That’s fine, it was my duty. But now, while I am working on my films, you are doing everything possible to tarnish my reputation and jeopardize my career.”
He continued, “If someone from a poor family enters the industry, please do not defame them to the point where they feel scared and leave. You have power, fame, respect, and wealth. That does not give you the right to humiliate those who do not have it. This behavior does not suit you. I remind you that all artists in the country have worked for young women, giving them good films and opportunities. You seem to be focused on petty expectations while engaging in serious business matters. Everyone is aware of the group behind you, and I believe they will eventually come to light. You may need me someday, so I kindly request you to stay within your limits. Thank you.”
Concluding his remarks, he added, “I must say again, Sunita ji, you have started using too many derogatory terms. People are getting inspired by this. We would be embarrassed if they began to speak to you in the same manner. Please refrain from such behavior.”
