Shri Parth Sarathi Rath Symbolizes Eternal Tradition: Chief Minister Rekha Gupta

New Delhi, March 10: Chief Minister Rekha Gupta attended the inauguration of the ‘Shri Parth Sarathi Rath’ alongside Lieutenant Governor V.K. Saxena on Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg, constructed by the Public Works Department.

In a post on X, the Chief Minister highlighted the significance of the Rath’s inauguration on Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg, commending Lieutenant Governor Vinay Kumar Saxena for this initiative. She emphasized that Delhi is not just a modern capital; it is the ancient Indraprastha, where Lord Krishna guided Arjuna during the Mahabharata, paving the way for righteousness, duty, and justice.

Gupta stated that the Shri Parth Sarathi Rath symbolizes the memory and inspiration of this eternal tradition. Such symbols of our cultural heritage in public spaces not only enhance beauty but also connect new generations to their civilizational roots.

Minister Pravesh Verma also shared on X that the inauguration of the Shri Parth Sarathi Rath, built by the PWD at Delhi Gate, was attended by Lieutenant Governor Vinay Kumar Saxena and Chief Minister Rekha Gupta. He noted that this Rath represents not only our cultural and spiritual heritage but also embodies the growing beauty, cultural pride, and positive message of Delhi. It will inspire future generations towards duty, faith, and national service.

Lieutenant Governor V.K. Saxena remarked that the day was particularly significant as the artistic structure has been completed after extensive preparations. He mentioned that the team worked diligently for about seven to eight months to create this impressive and grand structure. He stated that the Rath is not only aesthetically pleasing but is also expected to last approximately 50 years. Such artistic structures not only enhance the city’s beauty but also become focal points for the public.
