Shiv Sena-UBT Criticizes Central and Maharashtra Governments Over Law and Order Issues

Shiv Sena-UBT demands resignation of Home Minister Amit Shah amid rising lawlessness in Maharashtra, citing threats to public figures.

Mumbai, November 4 (Daily Kiran) : Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray) has launched a fierce attack on both the central and Maharashtra state governments regarding law and order issues. The party claims that the state’s law and order situation is deteriorating rapidly, with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang reportedly threatening businessmen, builders, and film personalities. Notably, actor Amitabh Bachchan has been seen greeting fans from behind bulletproof glass, raising concerns about safety.

In its editorial in the party’s mouthpiece, ‘Saamana,’ Shiv Sena-UBT highlighted the alarming state of public safety under the current administration. The editorial specifically targeted Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Maharashtra’s Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, asserting that the public safety situation has reached a critical level.

The editorial stated, “Shah seems to have created an invisible force for his own interests, which threatens individuals, extorts money, and commits violent acts across the country. This is why icons like Amitabh Bachchan, at 84 years of age, are forced to navigate life behind bulletproof glass.”

The party also referenced recent incidents, including a shooting near actor Tiger Shroff’s vehicle and extortion demands from jewelers in Nagpur, questioning why high-profile celebrities and ordinary citizens live in constant fear.

Shiv Sena-UBT raised concerns about how criminal gangs, particularly the Bishnoi network, operate without fear. They accused the Home Ministry of issuing orders that prevent state police from detaining Bishnoi from Sabarmati Jail in Gujarat, effectively providing him a form of “invisible protection.”

The editorial posed a stark contrast: while ruling leaders conduct large rallies under heavy police security, ordinary citizens, builders, and film stars continue to live in fear. The piece questioned how many citizens the government can realistically protect with such special security measures.

It concluded by emphasizing that an administration unable to protect its prominent citizens and dismantle fundamental criminal networks has lost its moral authority. The Shiv Sena-UBT demanded the resignation of Home Minister Amit Shah in light of these issues.
