Shivraj Singh Chouhan Calls By-Election Victory a Symbol of Public Trust, Criticizes Opposition

Bhopal, October 10 (Daily Kiran) : Central Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan recently characterized the victories of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) in the recent by-elections as a reflection of public trust in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership and the government’s developmental policies. He emphasized that the people stand united with Modi in their commitment to building a developed India.

During a media interaction in Bhopal, Chouhan pointed out the BJP and NDA’s impressive wins in by-elections in Bengal, Assam, and Puducherry. He noted that the party also garnered significant support in local body elections in Rajasthan and Tripura. Chouhan stressed that these results should not be seen merely as electoral victories but as indicators of the public’s faith in Modi and the BJP-NDA.

He stated that the citizens of India are aligned with Modi’s vision for development. The election outcomes clearly demonstrate that people desire progress for the nation. Chouhan reiterated the government’s commitment to achieving the goal of a developed India, signaling that the public prioritizes development, stability, and progress. He expressed confidence that under Modi’s leadership, the vision for a developed India will be realized.

Chouhan did not hold back in criticizing the opposition, accusing them of failing to win the public’s trust and resorting to creating chaos on the streets after their electoral defeats. He claimed that the opposition’s inability to win democratically leads them to attempt to disrupt order through protests.

He alleged that the opposition aims to weaken constitutional institutions, diminish public confidence in democracy, and violate the sanctity of the Constitution. Chouhan suggested that foreign forces support the opposition, although he did not provide specific examples or evidence to back this claim.

Responding to the opposition’s protests against Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar, Chouhan expressed surprise at their behavior. He accused the opposition of showing sympathy towards external entities while being harsh towards their own countrymen.

Chouhan asserted that the opposition seeks to create disorder in the country due to their failure to gain power through elections. He described their actions as attempts to undermine the democratic framework of the nation.

Commenting on ongoing protests in Delhi, Chouhan labeled them as manifestations of the opposition’s chaos. He suggested that the opposition is troubled by the progress of Indian entrepreneurs and claimed that Rahul Gandhi has foreign backing, portraying this as the true nature of Congress and opposition politics.

He concluded by stating that such activities are part of a conspiracy to weaken the nation. While Modi’s leadership propels the country towards development and self-reliance, the opposition is attempting to disrupt the atmosphere through protests.
