New Delhi, March 3: Syed Shah Nawaz Hussain, the national spokesperson for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), stated that the Congress party is increasingly losing its influence. He remarked that Congress has dwindled to zero in Delhi and has shown disappointing results in Bihar. “No one seems to support them anymore,” he added.
In an interview with a news agency, Hussain expressed skepticism about Congress’s chances in the upcoming West Bengal assembly elections. He emphasized that the public is now seeking development and stable leadership, which is why they are bringing the NDA to power. “People know which party can drive their development. No one wants to support Congress anymore,” he asserted.
Hussain also targeted Rahul Gandhi, stating that India is a democratic nation, not a dictatorship like North Korea. He criticized Gandhi for attempting to divert attention from issues when he lacks solid arguments. “The Congress leadership does not adhere to democratic values within its own party,” he noted. He accused Gandhi of making misleading statements to confuse the public, which he believes ultimately fails.
Additionally, he accused West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee of wanting deceased individuals to remain on the voter list. “They are continuously opposing the SIR because they know that its implementation would prevent fraudulent voting. Voter list transparency must be ensured for fair elections,” he stated.
Hussain confidently predicted that the NDA would form the government in West Bengal this time, aiming to elevate the state to new heights and position it among the most progressive states in the country.
He also highlighted Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s popularity, noting that he is among the most popular leaders globally. “He has millions of followers on social media platforms, and people take his addresses seriously,” Hussain concluded.
