Nagpur, July 15: Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Sanjay Raut has commented on the recent meeting between NCP (SP) leader Jayant Patil and Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.
During a conversation with reporters, Uddhav Thackeray mentioned that Jayant Patil met with the Chief Minister on Tuesday night.
Regarding the temple visit, Raut stated, “I have no conditions. What conditions could there be for reading the Hanuman Chalisa? Uddhav Thackeray will come on the 18th, and we will go to the temple. A platform will be set up outside the temple. If a large number of people gather, Uddhav Thackeray will address them. Our program will be complete.”
On the Women’s Reservation Bill, Uddhav Thackeray remarked that if the government reintroduces the bill, the entire opposition will unite to oppose it. He mentioned that they have provided information to rectify the bill. “If our suggestions are accepted, we will discuss it,” he added.
In discussions with Supriya Sule, Thackeray noted that she is open to dialogue.
Meanwhile, Congress leader Hussain Dalwai commented on the possibility of Sharad Pawar joining the BJP, stating, “I don’t think some people will leave, but Sharad Pawar will not go at all.”
Regarding the Ram Mandir donation issue, Hussain Dalwai mentioned, “I heard Jagadguru Shankaracharya’s statement. He said, ‘What will happen? Nothing will happen.’ He claimed it is not a Ram temple but rather an office of the RSS and BJP. That is why they have not visited there yet.”
