Sanjay Raut Criticizes Eknath Shinde Amid Operation Tiger Discussions

Mumbai, June 20: The political landscape in Maharashtra is buzzing with discussions surrounding the controversial ‘Operation Tiger.’ In this context, Shiv Sena (UBT) Rajya Sabha member Sanjay Raut has targeted Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde.

Raut emphasized that Shinde’s statements should not be taken too seriously. He remarked, “Why give so much importance to Eknath Shinde’s words? He is not a significant leader. He is a dishonest leader who has betrayed the Shiv Sena. Similarly, do not take Suvendu Adhikari’s comments seriously. These are individuals who have betrayed the platform that gave them political recognition.”

He further stated that as long as such individuals hold power and wealth, they will continue to make such statements. Raut sharply commented, “The day power and money slip from their hands, the public will not even allow them to keep their clothes on.”

This statement comes in response to Shinde’s recent remarks claiming the strength of the Shiv Sena and the Mahayuti alliance. Shinde stated that the Shiv Sena was established 60 years ago to serve farmers, laborers, women, and the common people.

He added that all his MPs and MLAs are crucial to him, asserting, “This is just the trailer; the full picture is yet to come.”

Shinde praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi, describing him as a leader with a clean image. He noted that the work Modi has done for Hindus and the nation aligns with the dreams of Balasaheb Thackeray. Additionally, he commended Union Home Minister Amit Shah for his efforts in abrogating Article 370 and combating Naxalism.

The Deputy CM also stated that the Shiv Sena represents the saffron ideology, and those who have forgotten it have faced political losses. He accused the NCP and later the Congress of attempting to dismantle the Shiv Sena.

It is noteworthy that ‘Operation Tiger’ refers to the alleged campaign in Maharashtra politics, where Shinde’s faction of the Shiv Sena is reportedly trying to bring leaders and MPs from the Uddhav Thackeray camp to their side.
