Lucknow, June 29: In a recent statement, Uttar Pradesh Minister Sanjay Nishad responded to the ongoing exchange of remarks between Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav regarding Ayodhya and Krishna Janmabhoomi. He also addressed the controversy surrounding Rahul Gandhi’s alleged missing posters and comments made by senior RSS leader Indresh Kumar about the partition of India. Nishad launched a sharp attack on the opposition while defending the ideology of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
Nishad supported Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s statement, emphasizing that anyone raising issues related to religious faith should first connect with that faith and ideology. He stated, “We support the Chief Minister’s statement. If you are raising a voice on a subject, you must first embrace that faith, visit the site, and connect with that ideology. If you are not connected to that ideology, you have no right to question it. If Akhilesh Yadav considers himself a Yaduvanshi, he should first raise his voice on the issues of Mathura and Krishna Janmabhoomi.”
He urged Yadav to take a stand for Mathura, saying, “Now it’s time for Mathura. He should come forward, support the cause, and hold meetings there. He should fight for his Yaduvanshi heritage while standing with the ideology of Indian culture.”
In response to Yadav’s comments about the BJP’s focus on donations, Nishad clarified that the BJP is not a party for any individual but rather one that represents an ideology. He explained, “The party’s ideology aims to bring even the most marginalized individuals into the mainstream of development. If some individuals associated with the Ram Temple Trust are found guilty, they will face justice. However, it is inappropriate to cast aspersions on the entire party based on a few wrongdoers.”
Addressing the alleged missing posters of Rahul Gandhi, Nishad criticized the opposition, stating, “Opposition members have become political speakers for foreign powers. If they were truly representatives of the Indian people, they would stand with them, amplify their voices, and advocate for the rights of the backward classes, Dalits, the oppressed, and the marginalized. Instead, they vanish from the public eye during critical times.”
Nishad also commented on Indresh Kumar’s remarks regarding the partition of the country, stating, “People of India and Bangladesh are culturally connected, and the pain of partition is still felt today. Pakistan and Bangladesh were once part of us. The situation there is dire, with no food, education, or employment. It is natural to feel pain. There should be a historical discussion on the roles of those responsible for the partition. Additionally, the contributions of revolutionaries who fought for the country’s freedom should always be honored and remembered.”
