Mumbai, March 29: Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Nirupam has condemned those spreading rumors, labeling them as enemies of the nation. He pointed out that the ongoing conflict in West Asia has slightly impacted the supply of petroleum products, but opposition leaders have been spreading misinformation from the very beginning.
Nirupam stated that opposition leaders are claiming that people will not have access to diesel, petrol, or LPG cylinders. He emphasized that the government has increased gas production and boosted the import of diesel and petrol. He also mentioned that the opposition has spread false rumors about a lockdown.
In response to the situation, Prime Minister Modi convened a meeting with state chief ministers. Nirupam noted that the Prime Minister has devised a comprehensive plan to navigate this crisis. He urged those spreading rumors to cease their activities.
On allegations of corruption regarding ticket distribution among Congress leaders, Nirupam revealed that the Delhi Police has filed a case against KC Venugopal, Priyanka Gandhi’s PA, and Kerala Congress MP K. Suresh. He accused them of taking money from candidates in exchange for tickets during the Kerala elections, asserting that this reflects the true face of Congress.
He further claimed that Congress does not operate without bribery, alleging that party tickets are sold. The Delhi Police has registered a case against senior Congress leaders for this historic wrongdoing. Nirupam demanded an apology from Congress and called for the arrest of those implicated.
Regarding the West Bengal assembly elections, he remarked on the violent history of elections in the state. The ruling party has historically intimidated voters to secure victories, a tactic employed by the Left for nearly 30 years. He accused Mamata Banerjee’s government of similar practices. This election marks the first time the BJP is contesting vigorously in West Bengal.
Nirupam asserted that the BJP has empowered voters in Bengal to participate in the electoral process without fear. Reports from Bengal suggest that this time, Mamata didi’s government may not return. He indicated that this could be her last election, as losing candidates often resort to various excuses, a pattern he believes Mamata Banerjee is now following.
