
New Delhi, March 29: Delhi Assembly Vice President Mohan Singh Bisht has strongly criticized previous governments for their inadequate performance regarding the Delhi budget. He stated that past administrations failed to execute projects effectively when presenting their budgets. In contrast, he highlighted that the current government has allocated a provision of ₹1 lakh crore for the budget, emphasizing its commitment to public welfare.
Bisht reiterated that previous governments were unable to implement their budgets properly. He mentioned that the current administration has set forth a budget of ₹1,03,700 crore, which is expected to benefit the residents of Delhi. This budget aims to improve the overall governance in the capital.
Regarding the inauguration of Jewar Airport by Prime Minister Modi, Bisht noted that the airport’s establishment would greatly benefit the public. He expressed gratitude towards PM Modi and Chief Minister Yogi for their efforts, stating that travelers previously endured long journeys to reach Delhi Airport. The new airport will alleviate these inconveniences.
PM Modi inaugurated Jewar Airport on Saturday, emphasizing that this event is a celebration for the people present rather than just a formal opening. He remarked that this airport would provide opportunities for the youth’s future.
Modi announced the launch of a new chapter in the ‘Developed UP-Developed India’ campaign, highlighting that Uttar Pradesh has become one of the states with the highest number of international airports in the country.
Chief Minister Yogi stated that Jewar Airport would give Uttar Pradesh a new identity and momentum. He asserted that the airport would enhance global connectivity and position the state as a major investment hub.
The Chief Minister also referenced the central government’s policies over the past decade, noting that these initiatives have not remained on paper but have been implemented effectively, yielding tangible results.
