
Mumbai, August 5: Bollywood actor Salman Khan has paid a heartfelt tribute to his friend and late actor Pradeep Rawat. He shared an emotional post on social media, expressing that the moments spent with Rawat will always be remembered.
On Wednesday, Salman Khan posted a scene from the film ‘Baaghi: A Rebel for Love’ on his Instagram story. Alongside the clip, he wrote, “Brother, we shared many good moments together… May God grant your soul peace.”
Salman Khan and Pradeep Rawat worked together in the 1990 film ‘Baaghi: A Rebel for Love’, where Rawat played the role of ‘Buddha’ and Salman portrayed the lead character ‘Sajan Sood’.
The 74-year-old Pradeep Rawat passed away on Tuesday. According to media reports, he had been battling cancer, which had resurfaced.
Meanwhile, veteran actor Surendra Pal Singh also paid tribute to his co-star from ‘Mahabharat’. He shared a scene from the series on social media, stating that working with Pradeep Rawat would always be a memorable experience for him. He noted that Rawat’s dedication, powerful acting, and impressive personality as Ashwatthama would always be remembered.
In B.R. Chopra’s iconic series ‘Mahabharat’, Surendra Pal Singh played Guru Dronacharya, while Pradeep Rawat portrayed Ashwatthama.
Actor Riteish Deshmukh also honored Pradeep Rawat, expressing his fortune in having worked with him. He described Rawat as a true gentleman and a cheerful person, extending condolences to the grieving family.
