Ayodhya, July 21: As the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust prepares for its upcoming meeting, reactions from saints, religious leaders, and those associated with the Ram Temple have emerged. This significant meeting is scheduled for July 22 and comes amid concerns regarding donations and financial matters related to the temple. The saint community and other stakeholders are hopeful that crucial decisions will be made to strengthen the temple’s administration.
Jagadguru Paramahans Acharya, the head of Tapasvi Chhawani, emphasized the importance of the Trust’s meeting, suggesting that specific decisions could be made. He stated that anyone found guilty of wrongdoing should be removed, but cautioned against accepting resignations based solely on rumors without evidence.
Paramahans Acharya also shared his views on new appointments within the Trust. He stressed that care must be taken to ensure that individuals associated with parties like the Samajwadi Party, Congress, and Aam Aadmi Party do not infiltrate the Trust, as this could lead to significant issues in the future. He expressed concern that the India Bloc aims to place its members within the Trust, potentially leading to severe complications.
He asserted that the Trust should be managed by individuals who are genuine devotees of Lord Ram, possess a strong religious sentiment, and understand the sanctity of the temple. He warned against allowing anyone who masquerades as a saint but is, in reality, a deceptive figure.
Pandit Kalki Ram, president of the Ramdal Trust, remarked that the meeting’s agenda would include discussions on who should be included in the Trust. He emphasized the need for local individuals and those connected to the saintly tradition to receive appropriate representation. He insisted that the temple’s operations must adhere to religious traditions to prevent future disputes.
He also highlighted the necessity of addressing the questions that have arisen since the Trust’s formation. Pandit Kalki Ram expressed his desire to participate actively in the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust.
Iqbal Ansari, the former plaintiff in the Babri Masjid case, deemed the Trust’s meeting crucial for Ayodhya. He noted that the inclusion of new members could enhance the administration. He suggested that a larger group of responsible individuals would facilitate better task distribution, thereby reducing the likelihood of incidents such as donation theft.
Ansari stressed that the protection of items related to the deity and the temple’s finances is paramount. Devotees contribute generously to the temple, and these funds should be utilized for religious activities, community meals, and facilities for pilgrims.
He advocated for improved amenities for visitors to Ayodhya, especially for the underprivileged and those traveling from afar. Facilities such as guesthouses and community meals should be prioritized to serve this purpose.
