Sadhus Perform Vijay Yagya in Ayodhya for Indias Victory Over England

Mumbai, March 5: The second semi-final of the T20 World Cup between India and England will take place at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai this Thursday.

As the match approaches, prayers for India’s victory are resonating across the nation. Special rituals have been conducted in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, where sadhus and saints performed a ‘Vijay Yagya’ for the team’s success. During the ceremony, images of Indian players were prominently displayed.

One participating sadhu remarked, “With the semi-final match against England coming up, we have conducted this ‘Vijay Yagya’ for India’s triumph. We are confident that our players will perform exceptionally well and eliminate England from the World Cup. Victory will be ours with the blessings of Lord Ram and Hanuman.”

Mahant Sitaram Das from the Saket Bhawan temple in Ayodhya stated that the ‘Vijay Yagya’ was performed with the chanting of victory mantras dedicated to Hanuman. He expressed hope that Hanuman would empower the Indian players. “We firmly believe that our team will send the English team packing. With Hanuman’s grace, India will perform well and secure a place in the finals,” he added.

Reflecting on India’s journey so far, the team has played a total of seven matches in the T20 World Cup, winning six. The only loss came against South Africa in the first match of the Super 8 stage. India secured victories in their remaining two matches, earning a spot in the semi-finals. Cricket experts believe that while India is the stronger team, the outcome of a T20 match can hinge on a single outstanding performance from a batsman or bowler.
