RP Singh Issues Stern Warning to Pakistan Amid Water Dispute

New Delhi, August 14: Amid ongoing tensions between India and Pakistan over water issues, BJP national spokesperson RP Singh has issued a strong warning to Pakistan. In response to comments made by Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif regarding water, Singh reminded Pakistan of the actions taken during Operation Sindoor. He cautioned that any further mischief from Pakistan would lead to severe consequences.

In an interview with a news agency, Singh stated that Shahbaz Sharif seems to forget the repercussions faced during Operation Sindoor, including the destruction of their bases and airports. He emphasized that if Pakistan attempts any more provocations, it risks being erased from the world map.

Supporting BJP national president Nitin Naveen’s statements regarding the partition of the country, Singh asserted that there was no doubt that the division could have been prevented. He criticized Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, alleging that the rush for power led to the country’s partition.

In reference to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s remarks on Partition Horrors Remembrance Day, Singh agreed with Modi’s assertion that millions suffered during the partition, particularly in Punjab and West Bengal. He noted that Punjab was inundated with corpses during that tragic time, which remains a painful chapter in the nation’s history that has often been overlooked. Modi’s focus on this issue has helped the country remember the horrors of partition.

Singh also launched a sharp attack on Rahul Gandhi regarding his comments about the RSS. He referenced Gandhi’s alleged statement referring to India as a “Union of States.” Singh accused Gandhi and the Congress party of viewing India as a collection of separate states rather than a unified cultural and historical nation. He stressed that India’s identity extends far beyond 1947, with a cultural heritage spanning thousands of years. The RSS ideology recognizes India as an ancient cultural nation. Singh criticized Gandhi further, stating that the Congress party’s perspective begins in 1947, neglecting India’s rich civilization and cultural identity.

Responding to Congress leader Priyanka Kharge’s statement that the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign should start from the RSS headquarters, Singh remarked that Kharge lacks knowledge of the country’s history, leading to such comments. He clarified that every branch of the RSS hoists the national flag on August 15, including at the RSS office. Singh accused Kharge of attempting to sow division within the country through such statements.
