Recruitment for 58 Senior Resident Doctors at GTB Hospital in New Delhi

New Delhi, August 14: Securing a job in a government hospital is a dream for many in the medical field. If you are one of them, Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital (GTBH) has announced the recruitment of eligible candidates for 58 Senior Resident Doctor positions on an ad-hoc basis across various departments.

The available positions at GTB Hospital include 10 in Medicine, 3 in Endocrinology, 8 in Radiology, 3 in General Surgery, 4 in Burns and Plastic Surgery, 6 in Neurosurgery, 2 in Pathology, 8 in Anesthesia, 1 in Pediatrics, 1 in Hematology Pediatrics (Oncology), 1 in Orthopedics, 1 in Obstetrics and Gynecology, 1 in Forensic Medicine, 1 in Ophthalmology, 1 in ENT, 1 in DEM (Diabetes, Endocrinology, and Metabolism) Surgery, 1 in Biochemistry, 1 in DEM Biochemistry, 1 in Dermatology, and 4 in A&E (Emergency Department).

The application process is now open online via Google Forms, with the deadline set for August 17. Interested candidates can complete their registration before 11:30 AM on the final date by visiting the official GTB Hospital website and following the application link provided in the notification.

Applicants must hold a postgraduate degree/DNB/PG diploma or MBBS with three years of experience in the relevant field from a recognized institution or university. Additionally, candidates must possess a valid DMC registration certificate at the time of the interview.

The maximum age limit for applicants is set at 45 years, calculated as of the interview date. Candidates from reserved categories will receive age relaxation as per regulations.

Selection of eligible candidates will be based on application scrutiny, walk-in interviews, and document verification. Selected candidates will receive a monthly salary of ₹67,700, along with additional benefits and allowances.

When applying, candidates must pay the prescribed application fee online, which is set at ₹500 for General/OBC categories. Candidates from SC/ST/PH/EWS categories are exempt from the registration fee.

Walk-in interviews will take place at the office of the Medical Director, Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital, located at Dilshad Garden, Delhi – 110095. Interviews for Medicine, Endocrinology, Radiology, and General Surgery will be held on August 18; for Burns and Plastic, Neurosurgery, Pathology, and Anesthesia on August 19; for Pediatrics, Hematology Pediatrics (Oncology), Orthopedics, and Obstetrics and Gynecology on August 20; for Forensic Medicine, Ophthalmology, and ENT on August 21; and for DEM Surgery, Biochemistry, DEM Biochemistry, Dermatology, and A&E on August 22. Candidates are required to report between 9:30 AM and 10:00 AM.
