New Delhi, June 6: RJD leader Mritunjay Tiwari expressed strong disapproval regarding the reduction of security for Lalu Prasad Yadav, labeling it as “cheap and extremely poor politics.” He emphasized that Yadav, a prominent leader not only in Bihar but across the country, has previously served as both Chief Minister and Union Minister. Tiwari also highlighted the significance of education and values imparted by teachers, stating, “We are all descendants of teachers. If education is turned into a market commodity, the government must regulate it.”
Regarding the ongoing dispute involving Khan Sir and Roshan Anand, Tiwari stated that the law will take its course and that the incidents warrant a police investigation, with strict action against those found guilty.
On the recent entry of Nishant Kumar into JDU, Tiwari remarked that there had been discussions for months about his political aspirations. He noted, “Our leader has already stated that Nishant is welcome in politics, but the manner of his entry suggests that the BJP brought him in and will ultimately push him out, leading to the downfall of JDU.”
Central Minister Giriraj Singh questioned the rationale behind the security provided to Lalu Prasad Yadav, asserting, “Why was he given such security in the first place? The constitutional system does not operate based on family legacy. It is the public that elects leaders to power.”
In light of the recent Tamil Nadu assembly elections, Singh commented on the Congress party’s alleged “fraud,” which led to DMK’s absence from the India Alliance meeting. He stated, “Why would DMK act otherwise? The reason is that DMK and Congress fought the elections together, but Congress is so power-hungry that it disregarded all rules and showed up uninvited, solely for power. Rahul Gandhi is so desperate that he doesn’t care if a civil war breaks out in India.”
