According to the Ministry of AYUSH, Anulom-Vilom Pranayama can provide relief from cough-related issues. The ministry states that regular practice increases concentration and energy levels while helping to lower stress and anxiety. During practice, it is essential to focus on deep breathing and maintaining a slow pace. For Anulom-Vilom, alternate breathing through both nostrils is recommended.
Recently, the Ministry of AYUSH issued a warning not to overlook illnesses that arise with changing weather. The ministry posted on the social media platform ‘X’, stating, “Changing weather can have unexpected effects on your health. Do not ignore warning signs that may require immediate medical assistance.”
The Ministry further advised on social media, “Signs such as high fever accompanied by confusion, difficulty in breathing, severe dehydration, or persistent vomiting should prompt immediate consultation with a doctor. Timely medical assistance can prevent serious issues and save lives.”
Additionally, the Ministry shared information regarding maintaining a healthy heart. A social media post emphasized, “The key to a healthy, balanced life is awareness. Being mindful of blood pressure, blood glucose, blood lipids, and body weight can help in early identification of cardiovascular risk factors. Take proactive steps towards heart health through awareness, prevention, and healthy lifestyle choices.”
