Greater Noida, September 21 (Daily Kiran) : The UP International Trade Show (UPITS) 2026, set to take place in Greater Noida, aims to showcase a blend of business, investment, technology, and the cultural diversity of Uttar Pradesh. This year, the event will feature a total of 20 knowledge sessions alongside its opening and plenary programs.
Experts will discuss significant topics related to industry, exports, technology, health, labor laws, e-commerce, and environmental issues. A key focus will be the role of Uttar Pradesh in the global supply chain, along with discussions on the next phase of India’s electronics sector, semiconductor production, and component manufacturing.
These sessions aim to highlight investment and manufacturing opportunities in the state while preparing industries for the evolving global market. Special sessions will also be dedicated to e-commerce and digital market prospects for MSMEs and One District One Product (ODOP) exporters. These discussions will explore ways for small and medium enterprises to access domestic and international markets through digital channels.
Additionally, topics such as MedTech manufacturing, new labor codes, and the benefits of free trade agreements will be covered in the knowledge sessions. This will provide the industry with a platform to understand the changing regulatory landscape and the new opportunities in international trade.
The discussions will not be limited to just business and industry. Special sessions will also address solid waste management rules, road safety, traditional Ayurvedic wellness, and the strengthening of Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs).
The Chief Minister has instructed that all knowledge sessions should be concise, impactful, and useful. Relevant departments have been tasked with taking full responsibility for their respective sessions. Public participation will also be encouraged to ensure the trade show is not solely an event for business and industry representatives but a platform for broader community engagement.
Cultural identity from various regions of Uttar Pradesh will be prominently featured at UPITS 2026. The Chief Minister has directed that significant participation from Bundelkhand and Braj regions be ensured. To showcase the state’s cultural diversity, 25 slots for cultural performances have been prepared.
These performances will range from classical music and dance to folk and tribal arts. The audience can expect captivating presentations of Kathak, Pakhawaj, and sitar performances, alongside Bhojpuri and Alha singing. Traditional dances from the Rai and Tharu tribes will provide a glimpse into the local and tribal culture of the state.
Moreover, star musical nights will be among the major attractions of the trade show. UPITS 2026 is set to present a unique platform that combines trade, investment, and technology with the art, culture, and traditions of various regions of Uttar Pradesh.
