5G Access Update
Until July 2024, Jio bundled unlimited 5G data with all plans priced above Rs 239. However, under the new structure, 5G access is now reserved for plans offering 2GB/day or more. While this may push users to opt for higher-value plans, it also unlocks access to Jio’s standalone 5G network with VoNR (Voice over New Radio), enabling 5G voice calling.
