Beijing, May 27: Xiaomi has unveiled a new handheld fan under its Mijia lineup in China. The Xiaomi Mijia Handheld Fan is currently available for crowdfunding on Xiaomi Mall at a price of 169 yuan, approximately $24.
This fan is specifically designed for outdoor use during the summer months, offering portability and convenience. It boasts an airflow volume of 250m³/h and can project air up to 5 meters away, ensuring users stay cool even in open spaces.
A standout feature of the Mijia Handheld Fan is its 100-level stepless speed adjustment system. This allows users to customize airflow from a gentle breeze to a more powerful cooling mode, making it ideal for various activities such as commuting, camping, concerts, hiking, or simply waiting outdoors in the heat.
High-speed DC Motor Delivers Wind Speeds Up to 8.5 m/s
The fan is equipped with a high-performance DC motor that operates at speeds of up to 10,000 RPM. Xiaomi claims that the airflow can reach speeds of 8.5 meters per second. The fan features a diagonal flow impeller and an intelligent wind control algorithm, which work together to ensure smoother airflow while minimizing sudden speed changes and noise.
With a 5000mAh battery, Xiaomi states that the fan can run for up to 40 hours on a full charge. It utilizes a Type-C charging port and supports charging via a power bank. Remarkably, just 10 minutes of charging can provide up to four hours of use.
In terms of design, the fan weighs approximately 260 grams and is compact enough to fit into a backpack. Xiaomi has also included a detachable crossbody strap for added convenience.
Additionally, the device features an LED display that indicates battery level and wind speed settings. To prevent accidental activation during travel or storage, Xiaomi has incorporated a built-in sliding switch.
