Conakry, October 5 (Daily Kiran) : The Chinese naval hospital ship, ‘Peace Ark’, embarked on its first-ever visit to Guinea as part of the “Harmonious Mission-2026.” On October 3, the vessel docked at the Conakry port, marking a significant moment in the relationship between China and Guinea.
During its seven-day mission, ‘Peace Ark’ will offer medical services, facilitate academic exchanges, and organize mobile clinics. The ship’s crew will also engage in cultural exchanges with representatives from the Confucius College at Conakry University, aiming to foster deeper ties between the two countries.
Chen Renbing, president of the United Federation of Chinese Migrants in Guinea, expressed gratitude for the ship’s arrival. He stated that the Chinese community in Guinea feels deeply moved by the visit, which not only safeguards their health but also enhances the friendship between Guinea and China. “Our homeland is our support, and we trust it even more now,” he added.
This mission is expected to strengthen the bond between the two nations while providing essential healthcare services to the local population.
