
New Delhi, June 27: A remarkable opportunity has emerged for individuals eager to serve the nation by joining the Indian Army. The 130 Infantry Battalion (Territorial Army) will conduct a recruitment rally for 69 soldier positions at Ecological, Kumaon, Pithoragarh, from August 3 to August 8. This event is open to former armed forces personnel, as well as female ex-employees from the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEF&CC) and the state forest department, who have served for at least 20 years.
The Territorial Army has issued an official notification inviting applications for various soldier roles. The positions include 49 for Soldier (General Duty), 4 for Soldier (Chef Community), 2 for Soldier (Washerman), 2 for Soldier (Tailor), 2 for Soldier (Equipment Repairer), 3 for Soldier (Barber), 1 for Soldier (Blacksmith), 1 for Soldier (Clerk), 3 for Soldier (Carpenter), and 2 for Soldier (Housekeeper).
The online application process for these vacancies has already begun. Eligible candidates wishing to apply can submit their registration forms on the official website of the 130 Infantry Battalion (Territorial Army) before the recruitment campaign starts. In case of online registration failure, candidates have the option to report directly to the center.
Document verification will take place on August 3 at ‘Devkatia Ground, Pithoragarh, Uttarakhand’, followed by physical tests on August 4, and medical examinations for selected candidates from August 5 to 8. Candidates participating in the recruitment rally are advised to report to the designated center by 6 AM and bring all relevant original documents along with photocopies.
Former employees of MoEF&CC and the state forest department, including those who retired early, as well as female ex-employees who are residents of India and receive a pension, are eligible to participate. However, they must have completed a minimum of 20 years of service in the respective departments.
It is important to note that candidates participating in the recruitment rally should not be involved in any civil or police cases.
