Rani Mukerji Defends Daughters Privacy at Mumbai Airport

Mumbai, July 17: Actress Rani Mukerji is fiercely dedicated to her children. She prefers to keep her daughter Adira away from the media spotlight. However, on Friday, she expressed her anger when photographers secretly captured her daughter’s photo.

Rani was at Mumbai Airport to receive her daughter. She was seen wearing an elegant sleeveless black outfit paired with large black sunglasses and holding a blue denim jacket. Initially, Rani posed for the paparazzi with a smile. But soon, she realized that photographers had taken a picture of Adira sitting inside the car.

Immediately, Rani approached the photographers and checked their cameras to confirm whether her daughter’s picture had been taken. She gestured for them to stop taking pictures and urged them to respect her daughter’s privacy.

Rani Mukerji married filmmaker Aditya Chopra in a private ceremony in Italy in April 2014. The couple welcomed their daughter on December 9, 2015. They prefer to keep their daughter away from the media’s glare.

In several interviews, Rani has revealed her desire to raise her daughter away from the limelight. She believes that constant media attention on star kids can hinder their development, and she aims to protect her daughter from unnecessary scrutiny.

Rani and Aditya have deliberately kept their daughter out of the public eye. They want any recognition she receives to be based on her own efforts and abilities, not merely because she is a star kid.
