Jaipur, August 2 (H.S.) — In a major development in the 2022 Second Grade Teacher Recruitment paper leak case, the Special CBI Court in Jaipur has cancelled the bail bonds of five accused — Malam Singh, Nanji, Bhupendra, Savita Kumari, and Bhagirath — and forfeited their bail. The court has also issued arrest warrants against them and ordered separate proceedings under Section 491 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS).

The court observed that none of the five accused nor their advocates appeared in court, despite the case being at the charge arguments stage for a considerable period. The court noted that their continued absence suggests an intentional delay in the trial process.
Special Public Prosecutor B.S. Chauhan informed that on December 23, 2022, Udaipur’s Sukher police were patrolling when they discovered documents related to the RPSC Second Grade Teacher Recruitment exam in a bus near Bekariya Circle around 5 a.m. Upon questioning, one individual revealed that some candidates were being helped to solve the leaked question paper at a hotel in Sukher.
A police raid at the hotel revealed that Mangalaram, Gopal, and Pukhraj were assisting nine boys and one girl in solving the paper. Suspended RPSC member Babulal Katara is among more than a dozen accused in the case. Several of them, including Katara, are currently in jail. Recently, the Rajasthan government submitted the prosecution sanction issued by the Governor to proceed with the trial against Babulal Katara.
