Rajasthan Chief Minister Criticizes Congress for Dynastic Politics and Cultural Insensitivity
CM Bhajanlal Sharma criticizes Congress for dynastic politics and undermining Indias cultural heritage during a media briefing in Delhi.

Jaipur, November 3 (Daily Kiran) : Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma launched a sharp critique of the Congress party during a media briefing at Jodhpur House in New Delhi on November 3. He accused Congress of promoting dynastic politics and repeatedly questioning constitutional institutions.
Sharma specifically targeted Congress leaders, including Rahul Gandhi, for their remarks about India’s culture, traditions, and religious sites. He emphasized the achievements of the Rajasthan government in the development and energy sectors, labeling Congress as a party driven by dynastic politics. He claimed that even Congress members are disillusioned after years of waiting for power.
“Congress is a party of dynastic politics. Its own members are frustrated and bewildered about why they have not had a chance at power after 70 years. Its leaders are anguished by their time in opposition and will have to remain there for a long time,” Sharma stated.
Addressing Congress’s allegations regarding Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs), Sharma accused the party of double standards. He noted that Congress accepts EVMs when winning elections but questions their credibility when they lose. He also criticized Congress for its repeated attacks on constitutional and independent institutions.
“During Operation Sindoor, Congress accused the army. Now, it is targeting the Election Commission and the judiciary. Is there any institution they haven’t accused?” he asked.
Sharma expressed his displeasure over Congress leaders’ comments regarding India’s cultural heritage. He asserted the importance of respecting the country’s rich cultural traditions and revered historical figures. He urged Congress to change its mindset, stating that the party must learn to honor these figures to avoid its decline.
Highlighting the progress in the energy sector, Sharma announced the Rajasthan government’s commitment to providing daytime electricity to farmers across all districts by 2027. He noted that daytime power supply has already begun in 27 districts. The BJP-led state government aims to ensure adequate electricity supply to industries and uninterrupted service to consumers.
Sharma praised Prime Minister Modi’s leadership, stating that under his guidance, the nation has witnessed significant development. He concluded by asserting that Rajasthan is steadily moving towards self-sufficiency in energy production and supply.
