Prayagraj, August 8: Congress MP Rahul Gandhi’s ‘Students’ Echo’ program in Prayagraj attracted several senior leaders from the party. The event highlighted issues concerning students and youth.
During discussions with news agencies, Congress leaders addressed topics such as paper leaks, alleged irregularities in competitive exams, recruitment processes, unemployment, the education system, and social justice. They emphasized that Rahul Gandhi represents the voice of the youth, asserting that students and young people across the country stand with him.
Prominent Congress figures, including Kishori Lal Sharma, Supriya Srinet, Ajay Rai, Rajendra Pal Gautam, and Danish Ali, were present at the event. They portrayed the large turnout of youth as a growing support for Congress, claiming that Prayagraj is set to be the starting point for political change in the nation.
Rajendra Pal Gautam, in charge of Congress in Uttar Pradesh, stated that students nationwide trust Rahul Gandhi. He highlighted Gandhi’s continuous advocacy for social justice, educational reform, and employment for the youth. Gautam remarked that Gandhi is working to eliminate hatred based on caste and religion. He asserted that those who do not see this change are mistaken, as the country appears to be rallying behind Gandhi.
Accusing the BJP of spending millions to tarnish Gandhi’s image, Gautam noted that public trust in him continues to grow. He claimed that preparations for change are underway, beginning in Uttar Pradesh, and labeled this shift as a victory for the Constitution and democracy.
Uttar Pradesh Congress President Ajay Rai described the event as the largest student dialogue in the country. He asserted that a message will resonate from Prayagraj, marking the beginning of a shift in the nation’s direction against the BJP. Rai predicted that the BJP’s political influence will soon diminish.
Supriya Srinet emphasized that Rahul Gandhi is a leader in whom the youth have faith. She stated that young people feel he genuinely addresses their concerns. The enthusiasm displayed by the youth at the event is beyond imagination, she claimed, asserting that this program is poised to make history.
Kishori Lal Sharma pointed to the crowd in Prayagraj as evidence of Gandhi’s rising popularity among the youth. He noted that the number of attendees inside the venue matched those outside. Young people trust Gandhi because he has fought for their issues from the streets to Parliament. His consistent focus on youth-related concerns has bolstered public confidence in him. Previously, Gandhi held similar dialogues with students in Kota and Dehradun.
Danish Ali remarked that the movement among students and youth from Prayagraj will spread nationwide. He stated that through this program, Rahul Gandhi is raising awareness of students’ rights and issues. Following Kota and Dehradun, Prayagraj is the latest venue for this initiative. Ali asserted that students and youth will not back down on their issues, continuing to fight until there is a change in power. He linked this movement to a demand for political awareness among the youth, emphasizing their crucial role in shaping the future of the country’s politics.
