Siwan, June 3: Prashant Kishor, founder of the Jan Suraj Party, has raised concerns regarding the expansion of the Chief Minister‘s official residence. He deemed it unnecessary amidst calls for savings. Kishor expressed worries about the electricity and maintenance costs associated with the larger bungalow complex, demanding transparency in the use of taxpayer money.
Kishor stated, “When you appoint a person with such a dubious character as Chief Minister, you cannot expect them to address education and employment issues. They say to attack the one with the ‘green scarf.’ But I say, just yesterday, you were the one flaunting that green scarf. You and your father have been in the politics of the green scarf your entire lives. They are not concerned about the color of the scarf; they are only interested in power. If today, the one with the green scarf puts them in power, they will start criticizing the saffron flag.”
He emphasized, “People need to understand that the issues in Bihar will not be resolved by the colors of the scarves. Samrat Chaudhary needs to explain when he will provide the promised 2 lakh rupees. You have given 10,000, but when will the 1,90,000 reach the women whose votes you secured?”
Kishor further questioned, “Samrat Chaudhary made a promise to provide jobs for 1 crore youth. It has been six months, and according to that promise, at least 10 lakh jobs should have been created. Instead of jobs, why are the students of TRE-4 facing police brutality?”
He added, “Samrat Chaudhary should clarify why the poor, whose homes you are demolishing, are not seeing similar actions against hotel owners. A girl was dragged from a hotel in front of her father at 1:30 AM. It is easy to demolish the homes of the poor.”
Kishor continued, “Samrat Chaudhary must explain why he has built a 10-acre bungalow for himself when he has not been able to provide even 3 decimals of land to the Dalit and backward communities. You talk about removing Rabri Devi, yet you combined the four-acre bungalow on Deshratna Marg with the existing 1 Anee Marg.”
He concluded, “People do not care about the color of the scarf; they can choose whichever color they like. We want to eliminate the color of poverty. The people of Bihar want to eradicate the color of corruption and migration. The colors of red or green scarves will not solve anything.”
