New Delhi, September 1: The National Board of Examination in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) conducted the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test – Postgraduate (NEET-PG) 2026 on Sunday across various centers nationwide. On Monday, the All India Institute of Medical Sciences – Common Recruitment Exam (AIIMS CRE) 2026 was held.
However, candidates at the IDZ Sitapura center in Jaipur faced significant issues due to power outages, leaving their exams incomplete.
In response, TCS Ion shared a post on their social media platform ‘X’ on Monday, stating, “The NEET-PG 2026 exam was successfully conducted for over 263,000 candidates at 1,111 centers nationwide on Sunday. On Monday, the AIIMS CRE was held for more than 21,000 candidates at 58 centers.”
The post further explained, “During both examinations, the IDZ Sitapura center in Jaipur experienced local power outages due to unknown electrical issues. An expert team from the responsible vendor is working to resolve this as quickly as possible. Necessary measures are being implemented to prevent such issues in the future.”
TCS Ion expressed their regret for the inconvenience caused to candidates at this center. They are collaborating with relevant authorities to ensure that candidates can complete their exams as soon as possible.
Previously, during the All India Ayush Post Graduate Entrance Test (AIAPGET) 2026, a similar power outage occurred at Shri Satya Sai PG College in Jaipur, affecting 49 candidates. Their exam is now scheduled for September 1. Meanwhile, the NEET-PG exam will be conducted again on September 5 at 3 PM.
