PFRA Recruitment 2026: Applications Open for 30 Officer Positions Until September 24

New Delhi, September 3: A significant opportunity has emerged for job seekers. The Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority (PFRA) has officially announced the recruitment of eligible candidates for a total of 30 Officer Grade ‘A’ (Assistant Manager) positions across various streams.

The 30 vacancies include 25 for General, 2 for Research, 2 for Actuarial, and 1 for Official Language (Rajbhasha). The online application process commenced on September 3 and will remain open until September 24. Candidates interested in these positions can complete their registration on the PFRA’s official website before the deadline.

Applicants must possess a Master’s degree or at least a two-year postgraduate diploma from a recognized institution for the General stream. Alternatively, candidates can have a Bachelor’s degree in Law or Engineering, or qualifications such as ACA/FCA from ICAI, or ACA/FCA from ICSI, or ACMA/FCMA from ICMAI, or CFA from the CFA Institute.

For the Research positions, a Master’s degree or a minimum two-year postgraduate diploma in Economics, Commerce, Business Administration, Econometrics, Quantitative Economics, Financial Economics, Mathematical Economics, Business Economics, Agricultural Economics, Industrial Economics, or Business Analytics is required.

For Actuarial roles, candidates must pass all seven ‘Core Principles’ subjects of the Institute of Actuaries of India (IAI) examination or be exempted from them. For the Official Language position, a Master’s degree in Hindi/Hindi Translation is necessary, with English as a subject at the Bachelor’s level, or a Master’s degree in Sanskrit/English/Economics/Commerce with Hindi at the Bachelor’s level, or a Master’s degree in both English and Hindi/Hindi Translation.

The maximum age limit for applicants is set at 30 years, calculated as of July 31, 2026. Candidates from reserved categories will receive age relaxation as per regulations.

Eligible candidates will be selected based on online application screening, an online examination (Phase-I and Phase-II), and an interview. The selected candidates will receive a monthly salary ranging from ₹62,500 to ₹1,26,100, along with additional benefits and allowances. The Phase-I online examination is scheduled for October 15, 2026, and Phase-II will take place on November 20, 2026.

While filling out the application form, candidates must pay the prescribed application fee online, which is set at ₹1,000 for General/OBC/EWS categories. SC/ST/PWD and ex-servicemen are exempt from the registration fee.
