Patna, April 14: Political activity is heating up in Bihar as the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) prepares to select its legislative leader today. Following this, a meeting of the NDA legislative party will take place in the Central Hall of the Assembly. Sanjay Sarawagi, the president of the BJP’s state unit, provided this information.
Sanjay Sarawagi stated, “The party’s central observer, Shivraj Singh Chouhan, will arrive in Patna on Tuesday. The BJP legislative party meeting is scheduled for 3 PM at the party office, where the leader of the legislative party will be chosen. Subsequently, the NDA legislative party meeting will occur at 4 PM in the Central Hall of the Assembly.”
While praising Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s tenure, Sarawagi remarked, “His term has been very bright. He has liberated Bihar from the era of lawlessness. Under his leadership, the NDA government has been in power since 2025, and Bihar is reaching new heights every day. There has been progress in health, education, and economic development.”
He emphasized that Bihar is no longer the ‘jungle raj’ of the past. The state is now moving towards becoming a ‘developed Bihar.’ This transformation is evident during the tenure of the NDA government led by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.
Regarding Rahul Gandhi’s election campaign in West Bengal, Sarawagi commented, “His campaign will have no impact, as no one takes his words seriously. There is a significant conflict ongoing, yet he makes statements as if he is disconnected from India. Whether made domestically or abroad, his comments are not taken seriously.”
Sarawagi also claimed that this time, the BJP will form the government in West Bengal.
