Enthusiasm Soars as PM Modi Addresses Rally in Bankura, Promises End to TMCs Tyranny

Bankura, April 19: On Sunday, a large crowd gathered in Bankura to hear Prime Minister Narendra Modi speak at a rally. The excitement among the locals was palpable as they expressed their support for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Many attendees voiced their belief that a BJP-led government would put an end to the injustices they have faced under Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee’s administration.

PM Modi was in the Bishnupur area as part of his vigorous campaign leading up to the elections scheduled for April 23 and 29.

An elderly villager shared his reasons for supporting the BJP. “We want the BJP because we want to end the atrocities happening under Mamata’s rule. Everyone in my village supports Prime Minister Modi and the BJP,” he stated.

Another attendee, who took a day off work, expressed his admiration for the Prime Minister, referring to him as an “icon.” “Prime Minister Modi is our biggest icon. He represents our hopes. That’s why I took leave to come here and listen to him,” he said.

A young man at the rally expressed curiosity about the BJP’s plans for the youth in the state. “The Prime Minister wants to discuss development in our state. We want to know what the BJP will do for us in the future,” he remarked.

During his address, PM Modi accused the Trinamool Congress of oppressing potato farmers. “I understand the pain of the youth and farmers here. The injustice faced by potato farmers is significant. My only request is that as long as the Trinamool syndicate exists in the markets, farmers will continue to be exploited,” he stated.

He further assured the youth that ’employment fairs’ would be organized in Bengal. “Appointment letters will be distributed at these fairs. This is also a guarantee from Modi,” he promised.
