New Delhi, September 2: Prime Minister Narendra Modi shared a profound Sanskrit verse on the social media platform ‘X’ on Wednesday. The verse, “अभयस्यैव यो दाता तस्यैव सुमहत्फलम् . न हि प्राणसमं दानं त्रिषु लोकेषु विद्यते,” translates to, “The one who alleviates the fears of others earns great merit. There is no gift more valuable than the preservation of life across the three worlds.”
Earlier, on Tuesday, PM Modi posted another insightful verse: “यस्य कृत्यं न जानन्ति मन्त्रं वा मन्त्रितं परे. कृतमेवास्य जानन्ति स वै पण्डित उच्यते॥” This means that a wise person is one whose actions, plans, and confidential thoughts remain unknown until they are successfully completed.
On Monday, he shared, “यद् यदेव प्रसक्तं हि वितर्कयति मानवः. अभ्यासात् तेन तेनास्य नतिर्भवति चेतसः..” This translates to, “A person’s mind gradually becomes attracted to whatever they think about repeatedly. Therefore, we should always contemplate good, auspicious, and beneficial thoughts.”
On August 28, he shared another verse stating, “एष प्रभावो रक्षायाः कथितस्ते युधिष्ठिर. जयदः सुखदश्चैव पुत्रारोग्यधनप्रदः॥” which describes the protective thread’s effects, promising victory, happiness, progeny, health, and wealth.
On August 27, he emphasized the importance of upholding traditions and knowledge, stating, “One should perform noble deeds while following a path of justice and enlightenment, adopting the virtues of the wise and continuously reflecting on them.”
