New Delhi (Udaipur Kiran News) | Google’s Pixel 10 Pro XL has claimed the top spot in DxOMark’s global display rankings, surpassing rivals such as the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra and Honor Magic8 Pro.

Launched in August 2025 at a price of $1,199, the Pixel 10 Pro XL achieved the highest scores in both the global and ultra-premium categories. At first glance, its 6.8-inch LTPO OLED panel appears similar to the Pixel 9 Pro XL, with a 2,992 × 1,334 resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection. However, DxOMark highlighted several refinements that make it the best smartphone display tested so far.

Key improvements include a 480Hz PWM mode to reduce flicker, a minimum 4-nit brightness for better low-light comfort, and HDR peak brightness of 2,200 nits outdoors. The lab also praised Google’s color calibration, describing it as vivid yet accurate, with smooth adaptation to different lighting conditions. Touch response, gaming performance, and TÜV Eye Comfort certification further contributed to its strong performance.

The regular Pixel 10 also impressed, finishing just one point behind, with both models excelling in readability, color accuracy, and motion handling. The Pro XL, however, had a clear edge in outdoor visibility.

DxOMark noted minor drawbacks such as faint color shifts at extreme angles and visible PWM flicker in some scenarios. Still, in daily use, the Pixel 10 Pro XL outperformed the Galaxy S25 Ultra. With Apple’s iPhone 17 results yet to arrive, Google currently holds the display crown.
