Peace and Brotherhood Celebrated on Eid-ul-Azha in Jammu and Kashmir

Jammu, May 27: On the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and Chief Minister Omar Abdullah extended their warm wishes to the people of Jammu and Kashmir, emphasizing messages of peace, harmony, and brotherhood. Both leaders highlighted that this festival symbolizes sacrifice, compassion, and faith. They prayed for peace, prosperity, happiness, and well-being for all.

The Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor’s office shared a heartfelt message on its official X account, stating, “Warm wishes to everyone on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Azha. This sacred occasion reminds us to embrace eternal values such as love, compassion, and forgiveness. May this Eid bring joy, peace, and prosperity into everyone’s lives. Eid Mubarak.”

Meanwhile, the Chief Minister’s office posted a message from CM Omar Abdullah, who conveyed heartfelt greetings to the people on Eid-ul-Azha. He noted that this festival represents sacrifice, compassion, and faith, and he prayed for peace, prosperity, happiness, and well-being for all. The Chief Minister expressed hope that Eid-ul-Azha would strengthen the bonds of brotherhood, harmony, and mutual respect among the people.

Earlier, former Chief Minister and President of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Mehbooba Mufti, shared her wishes on X, stating, “Warm greetings to all on Eid-ul-Azha. May Allah bless your lives with peace, happiness, and abundant blessings. Ameen.”

The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference also extended its greetings on X, with President Dr. Farooq Abdullah, Vice President and Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, and all officials and workers of the Jammu and Kashmir National Conference wishing the people and the entire Muslim community heartfelt congratulations. They stated, “This sacred festival, symbolizing sacrifice, compassion, unity, and devotion to the Almighty, may bring peace, prosperity, harmony, and happiness to every home. Eid Mubarak to all.”
