Owaisi and Beniwal Join Forces in Jaipur, Sparking Talk of a Third Political Front in Rajasthan

Jaipur, September 7 (Daily Kiran) : Political activity in Rajasthan intensified as Asaduddin Owaisi, leader of the AIMIM, and Hanuman Beniwal, head of the National Loktantrik Party (RLP), held a joint rally in Jaipur on Sunday. Their appearance together has fueled speculation about the emergence of a potential third political front in the state.

The leaders addressed a gathering in support of an AIMIM candidate in Municipal Corporation Ward 146. Both targeted the ruling BJP and the Congress, positioning themselves as a viable alternative in the political landscape. Their collaboration has sparked discussions about the possibility of a significant alliance between AIMIM and RLP, especially in light of the upcoming local elections.

During the rally, Owaisi stated that Rajasthan’s politics has traditionally revolved around the BJP and Congress. He asserted that voters now have a new option to consider. He described the municipal elections on September 11 as a crucial test for the electorate and urged support for AIMIM candidates. Owaisi also encouraged voters to back RLP candidates in areas where they are contesting.

Owaisi criticized the BJP government for its political stance, highlighting issues like education, facilities in government schools, and women’s safety. He emphasized that elections should focus on fundamental concerns rather than communal issues. Beniwal characterized their joint appearance as a fresh beginning for Rajasthan’s politics, discussing potential political cooperation between the Jat and Muslim communities.

Beniwal also took aim at the government over issues such as a recent paper leak, farmers’ concerns, the Agniveer recruitment scheme, and job opportunities for youth. He pledged that his party would continue to raise issues affecting farmers and young people.

Both leaders hinted at the possibility of maintaining their political alliance in future elections, including the Rajasthan Assembly elections. The joint rally of Owaisi and Beniwal has added a new dimension to the political landscape in Rajasthan.
