Akhilesh Yadav Criticizes BJP Over Alleged Insult to Shankaracharya

Lucknow, September 29 (Daily Kiran) : Former Chief Minister and Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav has sharply criticized the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), accusing it of undermining the faith and dignity of the Sanatan community through arrogance. He referred to a recent incident involving the alleged insult to Shankaracharya, asserting that the BJP will face consequences for its actions. Yadav emphasized that the Sanatan community will not tolerate such disrespect and will challenge the ruling party’s arrogance.

In a statement released on Tuesday, Yadav condemned the use of derogatory language directed at a revered figure representing the beliefs of millions. He argued that this incident reflects how power can corrupt judgment and lead to disrespect. “The Sanatan community has never faced such humiliation before,” he stated, expressing the collective sorrow of those who feel belittled by such remarks.

Yadav claimed that even staunch BJP supporters are now embarrassed by the party’s actions. He described the comments as a direct affront to the dignity and respect of the entire community. “The Sanatan society will dismantle the arrogance of power to defend its honor,” he declared, suggesting that the ruling party’s allies are now left without credibility.

The former Chief Minister also targeted the current government, asserting that they are aware of their impending defeat and are attempting to eliminate any potential opposition. He referenced an old proverb, stating, “Those who cannot consume will spread it around.”

Yadav further criticized the prevailing dominance of the ruling party, stating that their arrogance blinds them to the opinions of others. He remarked that some individuals are even more extreme in their views, failing to recognize their own reflections in the mirror.

Concluding his remarks, Yadav proclaimed, “The days of arrogance are over.” He reiterated that the ongoing disrespect towards Shankaracharya must be addressed, and the BJP will ultimately bear the consequences of their actions.
