Raipur, 22 August (Kiran News). The weather in Chhattisgarh has turned pleasant once again. The Meteorological Department has predicted rainfall over the next three days in the districts of Bastar, Durg, and Bilaspur divisions. An orange alert has been issued for 13 districts in the state. The department has also warned of heavy rain and lightning in some areas of Surguja and Bilaspur divisions, urging residents not to stay in open fields or unsafe places and to take necessary precautions.

On Thursday night, there was heavy rainfall in the state capital Raipur and several other areas. Since Friday morning, Raipur has been under cloudy skies with light showers continuing. The Meteorological Department has forecast heavy rainfall in many districts of the state.

According to the department, light to moderate rain is expected today in Kanker, Kondagaon, Mohla-Manpur, Balod, Narayanpur, and Balodabazar districts. Weather will remain normal in the southern part of the state. In the past 24 hours, most areas across all divisions have received light to moderate rain. Drizzle has continued in Raipur and Raigarh since late last night.
