Om Prakash Rajbhar Comments on Nitish Kumars Rajya Sabha Aspirations

Azamgarh, March 7: Uttar Pradesh Minister Om Prakash Rajbhar has responded to Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s aspirations for a Rajya Sabha seat. He stated that it is Kumar’s dream to engage in politics at the upper house. The BJP alliance has openly invited him to join.

Speaking to a news agency, Rajbhar remarked, “When a person becomes a chief minister and serves for five years, they often feel the urge to move higher. They start thinking about becoming a district council member. Once they achieve that, they aspire to be an MLA. After becoming an MLA, the next step is to become a minister. Once they reach the ministerial position, they dream of becoming a chief minister. And if they become a chief minister, the next dream is to become the Prime Minister. Eventually, they may even aspire to be the President.”

He further added, “Regarding the Rajya Sabha, CM Nitish has publicly stated that going to the upper house is his personal decision, and he is heading to Delhi. He has never been to the Rajya Sabha. It is his dream to engage in politics there. Who is stopping him? He is his own master. The BJP alliance has openly invited him. The BJP has also demonstrated this by making him the chief minister in Bihar.”

On speculations about the BJP appointing a chief minister in Bihar, Rajbhar said, “It is the responsibility of the assembly members to decide who will be the chief minister. We are with the NDA.”

Meanwhile, Rajbhar criticized the Congress and the Samajwadi Party. He stated, “The narratives of the SP and Congress are entirely different. Rahul Gandhi and Akhilesh Yadav often speak against each other. They criticize the government on every issue, and they only manage to secure some votes when they do so. If they start praising the government’s schemes, they won’t receive a single vote.”

Minister Rajbhar also mentioned, “During the SP government, disabled individuals received a pension of 300 rupees, and the elderly received 500 rupees. The BJP government has given equal respect to everyone and increased all pensions to 1,000 rupees. Previous governments misappropriated financial aid meant for farmers. Money was siphoned off midway. Now, all leaks have been plugged, which is why the opposition protests.”
