
Noida, April 28: The Chief Executive Officer of the Noida Authority, Krishna Karunesh, conducted a detailed review meeting on Tuesday regarding the works in Work Circles 1 to 5. The meeting assessed the progress of various development and maintenance projects related to civil works, public health, and horticulture.
Present at the meeting were Additional Chief Executive Officer Vandana Tripathi, Special Executive Officer Krantishankar Singh, Induprakash Singh, General Manager A.K. Arora, S.P. Singh, and Director (Horticulture) Anand Mohan Singh, along with other senior officials.
The CEO instructed to enhance the door-to-door garbage collection system in the city. He emphasized the need for regular waste collection in all sectors and villages, ensuring no garbage accumulation occurs. Special attention was also given to the regular cleaning of roads and drains.
Instructions were issued for beautifying the decommissioned garbage dumps. Where space permits, the possibility of installing swings, benches, or open gyms for children was discussed. Maintenance work for public toilets and urinals is to be completed within 15 days, with operations running from 6 AM to 10 PM, equipped with all necessary facilities.
With the upcoming monsoon season in mind, the timely completion of repairs for drains and bridges was stressed to prevent waterlogging issues. A strict stance on encroachment cases was adopted, with continuous monitoring and sealing actions to be taken when necessary.
The CEO directed the swift completion of the tender process for all development works, aiming to commence projects by the end of May and complete them before December.
The horticulture department was instructed to regularly trim trees and ensure the purchase of necessary machinery. Additionally, the involvement of advertising agencies for the maintenance of green belts and parks was suggested. Actions against illegal vendors and weekly markets were mandated, along with compiling detailed reports on them. The identification of accident-prone areas in the city was also emphasized, with necessary safety measures to be implemented.
To improve public communication, the mobile numbers of work circle managers will be made available to RWAs and villagers, facilitating timely solutions to cleanliness and other issues. Furthermore, instructions were given to capture stray cattle roaming on the streets and send them to shelters, along with ensuring the tagging of private animals. In light of the intense heat, the city will implement water sprinkling, install drinking water stations, and provide water coolers, ensuring water availability for animals as well.
