Lucknow, September 2: Uttar Pradesh‘s Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya announced a new initiative on Wednesday aimed at providing transparent recruitment, timely salaries, and social security for youth through the Uttar Pradesh Outsourcing Service Corporation. This initiative guarantees outsourced workers accident insurance coverage of up to ₹50 lakh, along with benefits such as EPF, ESI, and maternity leave.
During the launch event held at Lok Bhawan, the corporation’s logo was unveiled, and its portal and website were launched. Maurya distributed dummy checks to 12 outsourced workers, emphasizing that the corporation will ensure a corruption-free and transparent selection process. Workers will receive timely direct salary payments along with social security benefits like EPF and ESI.
The initiative aims to provide accident insurance of up to ₹50 lakh, maternity leave, and other essential benefits. Maurya stated that the establishment of the UPOSC will strengthen transparency, accountability, and good governance in the outsourcing system while safeguarding the interests of youth. The corporation’s goal is to regulate and protect the rights of outsourced workers while ensuring transparency and accountability throughout the system.
Maurya highlighted the economic transformation in women’s lives through self-help groups. He asserted that empowering half of the population economically is crucial for the development of the country and the state. To realize the vision of a developed India and a developed Uttar Pradesh by 2047, it is essential to economically empower women, youth, and farmers. The double-engine government is tirelessly working to bring this vision to fruition.
He criticized previous governments for turning Uttar Pradesh into a hub of corruption and looting. In contrast, he noted that the state has now become a safe and reliable investment destination for both domestic and international investors. This transformation is not a result of a single day but is the outcome of public trust, Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s foresight, and the continuous development efforts under Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s leadership.
The Deputy Chief Minister reiterated that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s guidance, the double-engine government is committed to providing youth with a transparent recruitment process, equal opportunities, and secure employment. The establishment of the Uttar Pradesh Outsourcing Service Corporation is a significant step in this direction, ensuring the protection of outsourced workers’ rights while making the recruitment and service system more transparent and accountable.
