Beijing, September 30 (Daily Kiran) : A grand ceremony was held in Beijing on September 30 to celebrate the 77th anniversary of the establishment of the People’s Republic of China. President Xi Jinping attended the event and delivered a significant speech.
In his address, Xi emphasized that the socialist system with Chinese characteristics has achieved remarkable benefits through long-term efforts and practices. He noted that the modern level of national governance and administrative capacity continues to improve.
Xi stated that the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation is unstoppable. He urged the nation to strengthen its confidence and steadily pursue its goals, assuring that success will belong to the Communist Party of China, the Chinese people, and the People’s Republic of China.
Premier Li Qiang presided over the ceremony, which saw around 800 guests from both domestic and international backgrounds gather to commemorate the founding day of the republic.
In his speech, Xi highlighted that various initiatives have been robustly advanced since the beginning of this year. Despite economic pressures, the Chinese economy is moving towards innovation and improvement, showcasing strong resilience and vitality. He noted new progress in the work of the Party and the country.
Xi reiterated the commitment to a peaceful and independent foreign policy, promoting the implementation of four global initiatives. He called for building a community with a shared future for humanity and injecting more certainty and positive energy into a world filled with change and turmoil.
