Kanpur, September 30 (Daily Kiran) : Families of victims from the Pahalgam terror attack expressed their relief and gratitude following the reported death of militant Hashim Musa. Shubham Dwivedi’s wife, Aishanya, and his father, Sanjay, welcomed the news on September 30, 2026, thanking Prime Minister Narendra Modi and security agencies for their efforts in delivering justice.
Aishanya noted that Musa had long been on the most-wanted list and had previously evaded capture. She praised the Indian Army for its persistent operations against terrorists, stating, “Our forces are not backing down. Prime Minister Modi said the operations are ongoing, and many terrorists have been neutralized since then.”
She emphasized the significance of these actions, asserting that India will not tolerate terrorism, regardless of its origin. “This is a new India. We will go into their territory and eliminate them,” she declared. Aishanya criticized those who politicize national security issues, questioning their patriotism.
Reflecting on the ongoing Hindu tradition of Pitru Paksha, a time to honor ancestors, Aishanya described Musa’s death as a form of homage to her late husband and other victims. “This truly is a way to pay respects,” she said.
Similarly, Asavari Jagdale, daughter of another victim, expressed joy upon hearing the news of Musa’s demise. “This is a happy day for me. I learned early in the morning that the mastermind behind the Pahalgam attack was eliminated,” she stated. She thanked the Indian Army and intelligence forces for their successful operation and urged them to continue until every terrorist is dealt with.
Asavari shared the emotional toll the attack has taken on her family, recounting that her father and his close friend were killed for identifying as Hindus. “We will never recover from this. This pain will stay with us forever,” she lamented. However, she found solace in the news of Musa’s death, hoping it would prevent future tragedies like the one that befell her family.
Asavari concluded by appealing for ongoing operations against terrorism, emphasizing the need for security forces to remain vigilant.
