NDA Leaders Respond to FIR Against Mamata Banerjee: Public Anger is Emerging

Patna, June 13: NDA leaders have reacted to the claims made by rebel TMC MP Jagdish Chandra Burman Basunia regarding the FIR filed against Mamata Banerjee.

In an interview, Bihar government minister Dilip Jaiswal stated that the atmosphere created by parties like Congress and TMC across the country is leading to their downfall. He remarked that Mamata Banerjee’s time is over. The long-standing TMC lawlessness in West Bengal culminated on the day of the Bengal election results, which he described as a day of liberation for the state. TMC members celebrated the end of Mamata Banerjee’s dictatorship.

Commenting on the statement from expelled TMC member Riju Dutta, Jaiswal noted that when TMC came to power, the entire Communist Party aligned with them. He believes that the current situation in Bengal is reverting to that state, with people placing their trust in Narendra Modi’s leadership.

In response to Meenakshi Natarajan’s allegations, Jaiswal asserted that mistakes were made on their part, leading to such statements. He emphasized that the country does not have time to focus on trivial matters.

Meanwhile, JD(U) leader Rajiv Ranjan Prasad stated that it is now clear that TMC is heading towards a formal split. He suggested that Mamata Banerjee and Abhishek Banerjee must make a decision soon. If they fail to do so, saving the party will be beyond their reach.

Regarding the FIR against Mamata Banerjee, Prasad mentioned that during TMC’s rule, people were afraid to speak out against any leader. With changing circumstances, public anger is now surfacing, which explains the filing of such FIRs.

On Meenakshi Natarajan’s comments, Prasad expressed disappointment that Congress and Natarajan do not agree with the Supreme Court’s role. He urged Congress to respect the decision instead of turning it into a matter of prestige.
