Madhya Pradesh, June 25: A tragic accident occurred in the Mandsaur district of Madhya Pradesh on Thursday. A car collided with a truck on the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway, resulting in the deaths of four individuals and leaving two others seriously injured.
Reports indicate that the victims, residents of Aurangabad, Maharashtra, were traveling towards Delhi in a car with six occupants. While in the Sitamau area of Mandsaur district, the car lost control and crashed into the rear of a truck. The impact was so severe that the front of the car was completely destroyed, trapping the passengers inside.
Witnesses reported that the occupants remained trapped for nearly an hour after the collision. Passersby and other drivers stopped to assist and, after considerable effort, managed to rescue the injured and deceased from the wreckage.
Upon receiving the alert, police arrived at the scene and transported the victims to the Sitamau Community Health Center via ambulance. Medical personnel declared four individuals dead upon arrival, while the two injured are currently undergoing treatment, with their conditions reported as critical.
The deceased have been identified as Ravindra Kale, Sachin Gangadhar, Rajendra Kowade, and Sandeep, all residents of Aurangabad. The injured are receiving care at the community health center, and it has been reported that the truck driver fled the scene after the incident.
The victims were reportedly en route to Delhi to collect mobile equipment supplies when they met with this tragic accident near Titarod, close to Sitamau. Authorities have informed the families of the deceased, and post-mortem examinations are being conducted on the bodies.
